When Juan Terry Trippe an American business man founded Pan American World Airways in 1927 nobody could predict that it would be a symbol for airline superiority worldwide for amolst half a century. It kickstartet the jet-age and made glamerous travels avaliable for the masses. From its early beginnings in 1927 until the late 1990’s Pan Am lead the way to commercial flight.
The public face of the airline was the cabin crew. Pan Am had many young sophisticated women as stewardesses. The most memorable uniforms weared by cabin crew. It is said that when working for Pan Am it wasn´t just a job, it was like a second family.
Once again I made an attemp to watch the video about Pan-Am, but once again the time goes to 17 seconds and then reverts back to zero.
